Combat Vehicle System

Icon Systems has started work on the $35 million Combat Vehicle System (CVS) program. MILES CVS will replace older MILES equipment currently used in the Army’s force-on-force training exercises with state-of-the-art equipment providing better training fidelity. MILES CVS utilizes One Tactical Engagement Simulation System (OneTESS) technology, while providing an advanced training capability, reduced life cycle support costs and more realistic simulation technology for combat vehicle systems.

This program uses a performance based specification and Statement of Work to acquire the CVS MILES. The CVS MILES is a member of the overall MILES replacement family. It also provides for replacement laser based, living training devices for armored vehicles to include Bradley Fighting Vehicles, Abrams Tanks and other military or civil defense armored vehicles such as the armored security vehicle.
